Cryptographic Security Products
Aaben are specialists in software design and
cryptographic security. The current range of offerings includes:
Supports 56-bit, 112-bit and 168-bit keys, CBC mode and
ECB mode, and a hierarchy of Key Transport Keys, Key Encrypting Keys, and
Working Keys. Encryption, MACing and PIN processing are all supported. A
program to demonstrate all the APIs is provided.
- DES Demonstration Utility
Demonstrates the CBC and ECB modes of DES with 56-bit,
112-bit and 168-bit keys. A very useful testing tool.
Supports RSA keys of up to 2048 bits. Key generation and
creation/verification of digital signatures. Public key import and export is
supported. A program to demonstrate all the APIs is provided.
- Extended RSA Development Toolkit
Contains all the DES and RSA functionality of the other
two toolkits together with DES key import/export, and key database support.
- RSA Demonstration Utility
Demonstrates RSA key generation, encryption and
decryption. A useful testing tool.
- Cryptography Administration Utility
If you require key database support you need to set up
users with suitable access profiles. This program allows you to set up a
hierarchy of key database administrators and users.
- DES Key Management Utility
Allows privileged users to maintain the DES key database.
- RSA Key Management Utility
Allows privileged users to maintain the RSA key database.
Set up a file of RSA keys for testing purposes.
A simple file encryption program using a password to
define the key. Uses single DES to encrypt multiple files. No key
management.
A file encryption programming offering single, double and
triple DES. Key management is supported, and it is compatible with
SimplyCrypt.
- Diffie-Hellman Key Setup Utility
Uses the Diffie Hellman protocol to set up keys and
passwords. Authorised users of the DES key management utility can use this
to establish Key Transport Keys securely on the DES key database without the
need for manual key distribution.
- Diffie-Hellman Password Setup Utility
A simplified use of Diffie-Hellman to establish passwords
(useful support for SimplyCrypt). No key management support and no need to
be a privileged user.
- Hash Algorithms Development Toolkit
APIs for MD5, SHA-1 and HMAC.
- Hash Algorithms Demonstration Program
Demonstration of the hash algorithms. Contains a feature
for hashing files as well as messages.
It can be catastrophic if you lose your password. This
utility lets you use RSA to encrypt small amounts of data under a public
key. The corresponding private key is not available to you so nobody with
access to your machine can recover the data. However, in an emergency we can
retrieve your passwords for you.
- Self Decrypt File Utility
You can encrypt files using single, double or triple DES.
The encrypted files can decrypt themselves on presentation of the correct
password (perhaps set up using Diffie-Hellman). Thus you can send encrypted
data to people who do not have (and possibly do not want) encryption
software.
